Ranked PvP on a factions server
Want your fights to count for something you can show? ArtemisPvP at play.artemispvp.com has ranked 1v1 duels with a rating and a rank, Last Man Standing in 3 arenas, kill and death leaderboards, and Faction Points that rank every faction against the rest.
Ranked duels
| Modes | Ranked (rating and rank) or unranked (open games) |
|---|---|
| Invites | A duel invite lasts 30 seconds |
| Long fights | With Damage Scaling on, damage rises: x2 after 5 minutes and x3 after 15 minutes |
| Where | Started in game; the duels page has every option |
Leaderboards
There are 18 leaderboards. For PvP players the ones that matter are Top Player Kills, Top Player Deaths, the Battle Royale leaderboards, the Minigame leaderboards and the Tournament leaderboards. Every board shows the top five and your own place.
Last Man Standing
Last Man Standing runs in arenas in the Overworld, the Nether and the End. The last player alive in the arena wins, and the arena pays out every 1 minute - money, XP or an envoy chest. It is the closest thing on the server to a free-for-all ladder.
Faction rankings
Team PvP is ranked too. Faction Points decide the faction leaderboard: 25,000 for holding your Core Chunk, 500 for each KOTH capture, plus points from holding strongholds. Top Factions (Points) and Top Factions (Wealth) sit side by side, so a faction can be rich and still lose the ranking.
Practising for ranked
Unranked duels are the place to warm up. Learn what the enchants on your opponent's gear do - every one of the 207 has a page with its chance and cooldown at each level on the enchant list - and fight on 1.8.9, the version the combat is balanced around. More on that on the 1.8.9 PvP server page.
Does ArtemisPvP have a kills leaderboard?
Yes. Top Player Kills and Top Player Deaths are two of the 18 leaderboards.
How long does a duel invite last on ArtemisPvP?
30 seconds.
