A Minecraft server with bosses, dungeons and PvE
ArtemisPvP at play.artemispvp.com is a factions server, but not every fight is against players. It runs 6 boss eggs, 4 dungeons, 51 trial rooms and 12 kinds of warzone mobs, plus world bosses that turn up as events. This page lists the PvE and how it ties back into gear.
Boss eggs
6 boss eggs: Brood Mother, King Slime, Leviathan, Plague Bloater, Undead Assassin and Yijki, World Destroyer. You hatch an egg, then fight what comes out - with your faction or alone. Each boss has its own page with its attacks and drops.
Dungeons
4 dungeons - Abandoned Ship, Destroyed Outpost, Planet Nul and Time Warp - each run by a party of up to 4 players.
Trial rooms
51 trial rooms in 6 tiers: Recruit, Apprentice, Master, Hardcore, Demonic and Impossible. Each room has its own wiki page, and the tiers climb from a first evening's challenge to the hardest rooms on the server.
Warzone mobs and world bosses
The warzone has 12 kinds of custom mobs such as the Space Demon, Space Colossus and Ender Monster, worth farming for drops. On top of that, the Random Warzone Boss and the Timeless Dragon arrive as events, so PvE and PvP meet: other factions come for the same boss.
Why PvE on a factions server
PvE gives a way to gear up without risking your base, and something to do when your faction is offline. It also feeds the PvP: drops, enchant books and money from bosses and dungeons end up on the armor people wear to KOTH and the outposts. For the full calendar of events, see world events.
