Clans and teams

A Minecraft server for clans and teams

If you want to play Minecraft as a team - a clan with a name, a base and rivals - a factions server is built for exactly that. On ArtemisPvP at play.artemispvp.com your clan is a faction: up to 30 members and 10 alts, shared land, one ally, and a place on the faction leaderboard.

Clans and factions

Clan is the general word; factions is the Minecraft game mode that gives clans land and stakes. A faction has a name, a leader and ranks, claimed land, and relations with other factions. Where a clan on a minigame server is mostly a tag, a faction owns a base, holds territory and can lose it.

What a faction gets on ArtemisPvP

SizeUp to 30 members and 10 alts
AlliesOnly 1 ally at a time, so alliances are a real choice
LandA Core Chunk that never expires; land touching your base never expires either

TNT bankHolds up to 250,000 TNT for raids and cannons
RankingFaction Points: 25,000 for holding your Core Chunk, 500 per KOTH capture

Things to do as a team

Starting a clan

Gather your group first, then pick the name together - it shows to everyone you fight. Decide who leads, who builds and who handles the cannons. Plan the base before you claim: your first claim becomes the Core Chunk, and you will defend it for the whole season. The factions guide covers the first steps, and joining someone else's faction is answered on the factions FAQ.
