Crates, Cosmic Chests and lootboxes
Loot on ArtemisPvP at play.artemispvp.com comes out of two kinds of box. Cosmic Chests - 14 of them, including a charged version of each - let you pick 4 mystery chests from a grid. Lootboxes spin a reel for 4 random rewards, with a 5% chance of a jackpot prize on top.
Cosmic Chests
Cosmic Chests are loot chests you open with a right-click. You choose 4 mystery chests out of a grid, and your loot is revealed. There are 14 chests in all, including a charged version of each. The crates page lists every chest and what it can give.
Lootboxes
Lootboxes are loot items you open with a right-click. A reel spins and gives you 4 random rewards, with a 5% chance of a jackpot prize on top. Lootboxes have their own NPC at spawn.
Where boxes come from
- Envoys every 30 minutes drop loot crates in the warzone; the first player to punch one claims it.
- Last Man Standing can pay out an envoy chest every 1 minute.
- Events, bosses, dungeons and trial rooms hand out rewards.
- Other players sell them on the auction house.
What is inside
What each chest can give is listed on the crates page. Rewards matter most for the top of the enchant ladder: Soul, Heroic and Mastery books are never sold at the Enchanter - they only come from rewards.
Boxes and fairness
Everything here is earned in game. The ArtemisPvP store is not open yet, and boxes come from playing: events, PvE and trading. What each chest can give is published on the wiki, so you can decide what to chase.
