Titles, disguises and other cosmetics
Gear wins fights; cosmetics show who you are. ArtemisPvP at play.artemispvp.com has 312 titles in 8 categories, 37 mob disguises, and ways to show your gear and your rank to the whole server.
Titles
Titles are cosmetic tags shown next to your name in chat and above your head. There are 312 of them in 8 categories, and the titles page lists every one. Titles change nothing in a fight - they tell the server what you have done.
Disguises
Disguises turn you into a mob: other players see the mob instead of you. There are 37 mob disguises. They are made for fun, screenshots and confusing your friends.
Showing off gear
Item linking lets you type a short tag in chat so other players can hover it and see your gear - enchants and all. The 18 leaderboards put your name next to kills, money, quests and minigame wins. And your gear itself says a lot: an armor set with its bonus turned on, a mask on your helmet or a rare enchant in your item's lore.
Cosmetics and fairness
A cosmetic is fair when it changes how you look and nothing else. Titles and disguises are cosmetic. Things that do change fights - enchants, sets, masks, pets, charms and sockets - are earned in game and documented on the wiki, so you can see exactly what someone's gear does. The ArtemisPvP store is not open yet.
