Envoys: Supply Crate Events
An envoy is an event where loot crates, often called supply crates, drop around a PvP area for a short time. The first player to reach and open a crate gets its loot, so every crate becomes a fight. Crates usually come in rarity tiers, and some servers let players start an envoy early with a flare.
How do envoy plugins describe it?
AxEnvoys explains envoys as 'supply crates' falling from the sky, with features like random or fixed spawns, cooldowns, fireworks and flares to start an envoy. CrazyEnvoys lets a server scatter custom crates, holding whatever prizes it chooses, around spawn. SupplyCrates schedules automatic drops and supports servers from 1.8 to modern versions.
How does a big factions server run envoys?
The CosmicPE wiki describes its overworld envoy: every 30 minutes, chests fill the warzone, more crates the more players are there (none if the warzone is empty). Crates are tiered from Simple to Legendary (plus a Heroic tier unlocked by a milestone), and higher tiers can spawn guardian mobs that combat-tag players. It also runs End envoys every 4 hours with a better loot table.
How do you win envoy loot?
- Be in the warzone before it starts; crates are first come, first served.
- Go for high-tier crates when you can tell them apart.
- Fight in a group so you can hold the area while teammates open crates.
- Watch for mobs that spawn with high-tier crates.
When are envoys on ArtemisPvP?
Three kinds: the Envoy in the overworld warzone every 30 minutes, the Nether Envoy every 1 hour and 30 minutes, and the End Envoy every 4 hours; each is open for 15 minutes. Punch a crate first to claim it; each crate has a rarity shown in its hologram and can give up to 3 prizes. More players nearby means more crates, up to 40. An envoy flare starts one early, and /envoy time shows the next one. See Envoys.
What other loot events are there?
Capture events like KOTH and outposts. On ArtemisPvP, loot chests also fall during Conquests.
