Enchant Book Utility Items: Dust, Rerolls, Transmog

When an enchant book rolls a bad success or destroy rate, Cosmic-style servers offer utility items instead of throwing it away. Magic dust raises a book's success rate, a randomization scroll rerolls both rates, and a transmog scroll sorts an item's enchants by rarity and adds the enchant count to its name.

What do the utility items do?

From the CosmicPE wiki's enchanting page:

ItemWhat it does
Magic Dust (Primal Dust at 10% or more)Raises a book's success rate by a set amount
Randomization ScrollRerolls a book's success and destroy rates
Alchemy ShardLets the alchemist combine special-tier books
Mastery ShardLifts the rule that stops books being applied to mastery kits
Transmog ScrollSorts enchants by rarity and adds a count like [12] to the item name
White ScrollProtects an item from the next failed book
Black ScrollPulls a random enchant off an item into a book
Enchantment OrbRaises how many enchants an item can hold

The wiki also says books with unviable rates can be traded to the Tinkerer for secret dust.

Why do these items matter?

Because every book is a gamble. A great enchant on a book with a low success rate and a high destroy rate can cost you your best sword. Dust and rerolls make the gamble safer, and scrolls protect the item. Scroll details: black and white scrolls.

What does a transmog scroll change?

Only how the item looks. On ArtemisPvP, the Transmog Scroll sorts the enchants on an item by rarity and adds the enchant count to the item's name in brackets; a Godly Transmog Scroll lets you choose the order. Neither changes the enchants themselves. See transmog scrolls.

Where do these come from on ArtemisPvP?

Magic Dust comes from lootboxes, event rewards and the Tinkerer (see dust); enchant books come from the Enchanter, lootboxes, envoys and events, and the Alchemist combines books. Scroll and orb sources are on their own pages. Book basics: custom enchants explained.
