Cart PvP: TNT Minecart Combat
Cart PvP uses TNT minecarts as explosive weapons. You place a rail and a TNT minecart near your opponent and set it off by shooting it with a Flame bow, or with a crossbow shot through fire you lit with flint and steel. A TNT minecart's blast grows with speed, which is why shots matter.
What is the Cart PvP kit?
minecraft.wiki's guide describes Cart PvP as revolving around TNT minecarts activated with a Flame bow or a crossbow shot through fire placed with flint and steel. It is one of three kits (with Crystal and Vanilla PvP) that put Blast Protection on one armour piece. Some versions use netherite instead of diamond.

How do you survive cart attacks?
