Armor Sets and Heroic Armor
Armor sets are full sets of custom gear that give a set bonus only when you wear all four pieces. Many come with a matching set weapon. A heroic upgrade turns a piece into its heroic version, which servers describe as stronger than diamond. Sets are among the most valuable gear on Cosmic-style servers.
How do armor sets work?
The CosmicPE wiki: special sets (armor sets) give attributes to the wearer, all four pieces must be worn for the bonus, and they can be diamond or heroic. It lists 11 sets on that server and says sets come before crystals on the power curve.
What is heroic armor?
The CosmicPE wiki calls heroic armor a special type of armor stronger than diamond; a Heroic Upgrade turns diamond set gear into its heroic counterpart. There, heroic armor shows as coloured leather armour and heroic weapons as golden swords or axes.
How do armor sets work on ArtemisPvP?
Wear all four pieces of one set and its set bonus turns on; take one off and it stops. Each piece's lore shows the SET BONUS, and most sets have a set weapon with its own bonus. /armor shows every set, /weapons the set weapons and /armorcrystals the crystals. In every set the chestplate is the rare piece, with a 2% chance each time a set piece is rolled. A Heroic Upgrade dragged onto a piece makes it Heroic. See armor sets and gear.
What sets does a Cosmic-style server have?
Each server designs its own. The CosmicPE wiki lists 11 special sets on that server: Ancient, Dimensional Traveler, Dragon Slayer, Engineer, KOTH, Mutant, Phantom, Ranger, Supreme, Yeti and Yijki, each with its own bonus such as extra outgoing damage or less incoming damage.
