How do you get a leatherworker?

Place a cauldron near an unemployed villager (not a nitwit) and it takes the job. If you have not traded with it yet, breaking the block resets its trades. See villager professions.

What is a leatherworker best for?

Leatherworkers are a source of saddles and dyed leather armor, and they buy leather from cow farms. See horse armor.

Any tips for leatherworker trades?

Dyed leather armor from leatherworkers comes in random colors, handy for team colors in minigames. Cheaper prices: curing zombie villagers. See also rideable mobs.

Can you trade with players on ArtemisPvP?

Yes: send /trade <player>, and nothing changes hands until you both accept; see Trading.
