Minecraft /time and /weather: Make It Day or Stop Rain
Type /time set day to make it morning and /weather clear to stop rain. A Minecraft day is 24,000 ticks (20 minutes): day is 1000, noon 6000, night 13000 and midnight 18000. Both commands need cheats or operator rights, and game rules can freeze time or weather for good.

On Bedrock, /time query day shows how many in-game days have passed; on both editions /time query gametime shows the total ticks. /time set day sets the clock to 1000 on both editions. Day and night are explained in day and night.

Without a time, Java picks a random length: clear for 10-150 minutes, rain for 10-20 and thunder for 3-13. On Bedrock the time is in ticks, and leaving it out gives 5-15 minutes. See weather and lightning.

Is there a way without cheats?
Sleeping in a bed at night or during a thunderstorm skips to morning and clears the weather. In multiplayer, the players_sleeping_percentage rule (Java) or playerssleepingpercentage (Bedrock) decides how many must sleep. See beds and sleeping.
