Minecoins: Minecraft's Marketplace Currency
Minecoins (Tokens on PlayStation) are the money for the Bedrock Marketplace and Character Creator, and for some featured servers. You buy them in game, in the Minecraft Launcher or with gift cards, for example 320 Minecoins for US$1.99. They pay for worlds, skin packs, texture packs, mash-ups, add-ons, emotes and character items, and work in Minecraft Legends too.
How do you get Minecoins?
- In-app purchases in Bedrock Edition, Minecraft Legends or the Minecraft Launcher, in your local currency.
- Physical or digital gift cards from shops.
- Microsoft Rewards: 2,500 points (2,000 at level two) for a 330 Minecoins code.
- Bigger bundles give a better price per coin.
What can you buy with Minecoins?
Marketplace worlds, skin packs, texture packs, mash-up packs and add-ons, plus character parts and emotes in the Character Creator. Some featured servers sell their own items for Minecoins. In Minecraft Legends they buy skins, Lost Legends and Myths. See add-ons and Marketplace and featured servers.
