Golden Armor in Minecraft: Stats and How to Get It
Golden armor gives 11 armor points for a full set and wears out fast, but it enchants better than any other armor and keeps piglins calm. Wearing at least one piece stops ordinary piglins attacking you in the Nether, but piglin brutes still attack.

A full set gives 11 armor points and has an enchantability of 25.
How do you get it?
Craft it from gold ingots. Zombies and skeletons sometimes spawn wearing it, and piglins sometimes wear golden pieces.
Tips
Its high enchantability means you often get several good enchantments from one table roll. Piglins also pick up golden armor you throw and inspect it.
How armor works
A full set takes 24 units of material: 5 for the helmet, 8 for the chestplate, 7 for the leggings and 4 for the boots. Armor points add up across pieces and show as the armor bar, but armor blocks a smaller share of very big hits, which is what armor toughness helps with. Armor loses durability as you take most kinds of damage, and Unbreaking makes it last longer. Each piece of Bedrock armor lasts 1 use longer than on Java.
