Glowstone in Minecraft: How to Get It and Uses
Glowstone is a glowing block that hangs in clusters from Nether ceilings in every Nether biome. It gives light level 15, the brightest in the game. Broken without Silk Touch it drops 2-4 glowstone dust, which brews stronger potions and makes spectral arrows; the block itself charges respawn anchors. 4 dust craft back into a block.
How do you get glowstone?

- Use Silk Touch to get the block itself.
- Journeyman clerics sell glowstone for 4 emeralds and wandering traders sometimes sell it; see cleric trades.
- Bastion hoglin stables also contain some.
