Fortune Enchantment in Minecraft: What It Does
Fortune gives more drops from ores and some other blocks. On ores like diamond, coal, lapis, emerald and copper, Fortune III averages 2.2 times the normal drops, up to 4 diamonds from one ore. It cannot be combined with Silk Touch, and ores still need the right pickaxe.

What does Fortune do?
Fortune I averages 1.33 times drops, II 1.75 times and III 2.2 times on ores. It also increases drops from crops, leaves, glowstone, melons and more. More: diamonds.
More about Fortune
It has no effect on ancient debris and does nothing on blocks that drop themselves anyway. On gravel it raises the chance of flint, and on crops and leaves it increases seeds, saplings and apples. Many players keep a Fortune hoe for farming as well as a Fortune pickaxe.
Enchanting tables use lapis lazuli and experience levels, anvils combine books and gear, and librarians sell books. Treasure enchantments only come from loot, trading and fishing, never the table, and higher levels cost more experience to apply and repair.
Tips for Fortune
Keep one Fortune pickaxe and one Silk Touch pickaxe: Silk Touch to collect ore blocks, Fortune to break them for extra drops later. Every enchantment: every enchantment.
Does ArtemisPvP have custom enchants too?
