Depth Strider Enchantment in Minecraft: What It Does
Depth Strider makes you move faster underwater: each level reduces how much water slows you, and level III lets you walk underwater about as fast as on land. It cannot be on the same boots as Frost Walker. It is great for ocean monuments and underwater building.

Get enchantments from an enchanting table with bookshelves, from enchanted books on an anvil, from librarian villagers, or as loot; see enchanting and anvils.
What does Depth Strider do?
It speeds up walking and swimming underwater; it only speeds up horizontal movement, not swimming up or down. More: helmet enchantments.
More about Depth Strider
Each level reduces water slowdown by a third, so level III removes it, letting you move as fast as walking on land. Mining underwater is still slow without Aqua Affinity on your helmet, so pair them for underwater building and monument raids.
Enchanting tables use lapis lazuli and experience levels, anvils combine books and gear, and librarians sell books. Treasure enchantments only come from loot, trading and fishing, never the table, and higher levels cost more experience to apply and repair.
Tips for Depth Strider
Combine with Respiration and Aqua Affinity for a full underwater set. Every enchantment: every enchantment.
