Cherry Grove Biome: Where to Find It and What's There
Cherry groves are pink-leaved mountain biomes that generate inland at medium or cold temperatures, often on slopes, plateaus or valleys between mountains. They are known for cherry trees, pink petals and bee nests, and like meadows they have emerald ore, especially higher up. Villages never generate there, but pillager outposts can.
Where do you find a cherry grove?
Inland, at medium or cold temperatures with low humidity, often on mountain slopes, as plateaus, or in valleys inside mountain rings; some are only small patches. They border plains, forests and dappled forests lower down, and snowy slopes or frozen peaks higher up. Dripstone caves and the deep dark are very common underneath. See biomes.
What is in a cherry grove?
- Cherry trees with pink leaves that drop petal particles; bee nests often hang on their sides.
- Lots of short grass, tall grass and pink petals on the ground.
- Emerald ore, especially at higher altitudes, plus common coal and iron ore and some infested blocks.
- Only pigs, sheep and rabbits spawn as land animals; on Java, sugar cane and pumpkin patches never generate here.
How do you grow cherry trees?
Plant a cherry sapling with at least 8 blocks of open space above it (in a 5x5 column). Cherry trees grown near flowers have a 5% chance of a bee nest. See trees and saplings and bees.
What structures generate there?
No villages, but pillager outposts can, and abandoned camps sometimes appear. See pillager outposts.
