How do you make a dog sit in Minecraft?
Use the tamed wolf (right-click or tap it). Use it again to make it stand and follow you.

How do you breed dogs in Minecraft?
Feed meat to two tamed wolves at full health that are standing near each other. They make a puppy that is already tamed.
How do you change your dog's collar color?
Use a dye on your tamed wolf. The collar changes to that color.
Do dogs teleport to you?
Yes. A tamed wolf that is not sitting teleports to you when it gets more than 12 blocks away, as long as you are standing on the ground.
Dogs do not follow you through portals on their own.

Do dogs despawn in Minecraft?
No. Tamed wolves never despawn.

How many wolf variants are there?
Nine: pale, woods, ashen, black, chestnut, rusty, spotted, striped and snowy. Each one spawns in different biomes.

How do you protect your dog in Minecraft?
Put wolf armor on it. Wolf armor is crafted from armadillo scutes and soaks up damage until it breaks.
Do dogs attack creepers?
No. Tamed wolves will not attack creepers, even if you hit one.
