The Warden is blind, hits harder than any other mob and ignores armor with its sonic boom. These answers explain how it hunts and how to avoid it.
How much health does the Warden have?
500 health points, which is 250 hearts.

How much damage does the Warden do?
Its melee hit deals 16 damage on Easy, 30 on Normal and 45 on Hard. Its sonic boom deals 6, 10 or 15 and ignores armor.

No. The Warden is blind and finds you by sensing vibrations and by sniffing the air.

It hears vibrations within about 15 blocks. It also knows about players and mobs in a much larger box around it, which it finds by sniffing.

What is the Warden's sonic boom?
A ranged attack it uses when it cannot reach you. It passes through blocks, cannot be dodged, and ignores armor, shields and Protection.
Only the Resistance effect, wolf armor on a dog and a witch's magic resistance on Java lower its damage.

About 14 blocks sideways and 20 blocks up or down from the Warden.

Can a shield block the Warden?
Not really. Its melee hit disables your shield for 5 seconds, and the sonic boom goes straight through shields.
Does the Warden despawn?
Yes. After 60 seconds without sensing anything, it digs back into the ground. A Warden with a name tag never despawns.

Can the Warden break blocks?
No. It cannot break blocks, but it fits through any gap 1 block wide and 3 blocks tall.

Is the Warden immune to fire and lava?
Yes. The Warden takes no damage from fire or lava, and knockback does not move it.

Not for loot. It only drops one sculk catalyst and 5 experience points.

Is the Warden the strongest mob in Minecraft?
It hits the hardest of any mob and has 500 health. Only the Wither on Bedrock Hard difficulty, with 600 health, has more.
What sets off a sculk shrieker?
Stepping on it, or a sculk sensor next to it picking up a vibration you made.

Do Wardens spawn in Peaceful?
No. In Peaceful the shriekers still shriek, but they never give Darkness or summon a Warden.

A large frame of reinforced deepslate in the middle of the city. It cannot be lit and does nothing; it is decoration.

Can you mine reinforced deepslate?
No. It is the hardest block in the game, cannot be obtained in Survival, and is immune to explosions and pistons.
