How do you make a compass?
Put 1 redstone dust in the middle of a crafting table and 4 iron ingots above, below and to each side of it.

How do you make a recovery compass?
Surround a compass with 8 echo shards. Echo shards are found in ancient city chests.

How do you make a glistering melon slice?
Surround a melon slice with 8 gold nuggets. It is used to brew Potions of Healing.
How do you make a harness?
Put 3 leather across the top row, then glass, wool and glass in the middle row. The wool color sets the harness color.
Harnesses let you ride a happy ghast.

How do you make scaffolding?
Craft 6 bamboo and 1 string to get 6 scaffolding. The string goes at the top in the middle and the bamboo fills the two side columns.

Put a stick on top of a cobblestone.

How do you make a pressure plate?
Put 2 planks or 2 stone side by side. Gold ingots make a light weighted plate and iron ingots make a heavy one.

Put an iron ingot on top of a stick on top of a plank. It makes 2 hooks.

Surround a hay bale with 4 redstone dust, one on each side.

Fill the crafting grid with 7 cobblestone, leaving the middle empty, and put redstone dust in the bottom middle.
